We’re starting small. This year is about proof of concept: understanding the issues, getting an idea about the challenges we face, and making connections. But we’ve still been able to collect some seeds — so far we have a few thousand acorns planted and a fridge full of stratifying haws.

This winter our activity will be based in the East Midlands, but next year we’ll be developing our 30 acre site in Northumberland, as well as linking up with some willing partners to work on specific projects. One of these is on ancient juniper, with a very tasty objective! More to come soon…
